The church is not a place where perfect people gather, rather, it is a group of people striving to grow together to be more like our savior Jesus Christ. We exist for His glory and our mission is to help people come to know Him. We invite you to come and get to know us better. No matter where you find yourself in your spiritual journey, we would love to have you find out what we are all about.
Head over to our Get To Know Us page to learn about our staff and what we believe.
Whether you know a lot about the Bible or nothing at all, we would love to study God's Word with you! Get in touch with us below and we will gladly set up a time to study the Bible with you in person.
You can also study the Bible online with us. Sign up for free online lessons below.
When you visit us for the first time, you can expect to be greeted warmly by members of the church as well as by our ministry staff. Don't worry about what to wear, just come in whatever you are most comfortable in. How people dress ranges from full suits or dresses to jeans and t-shirts. When you enter our foyer, you will find a guestbook that we encourage you to sign. We use any contact info you give us to send a simple thank you note for taking time out of your week to worship with us.
Depending on when you choose to visit us, we will either gather for a time of worship or Bible study. Our Bible studies are open to all and are often a time to not only listen but also discuss and ask questions. Our worship services are simple, yet meaningful. We strive to follow the New Testament as our guide for how we conduct our worship service. When you join us for a Sunday morning worship service, you will first hear any announcements and prayer requests that we have received. After announcements, our song leader will begin the service with a couple of songs. We do not use a band or a choir during our worship. Instead, we invite every person to sing together as one. We sing a cappella, meaning we do not use instruments in our service. In addition to singing, we also engage in prayers together and take in the Lord's Supper every Sunday. The Lord's Supper is a reminder that we partake of every week. It helps those who have been cleansed by Jesus Christ to remember His death, burial, and resurrection. We remember the body of Christ that was hung on a cross for us when we eat of the bread. Next, we drink of the fruit of the vine and remember the blood of Jesus that was shed for the forgiveness of sins. We also take an offering every Sunday. No one is required to give a tithe or offering, rather, each person is to give what they have decided in their heart to give. Visitors are under no obligation to give. The money collected is used for the work of the church. Finally, you will hear a sermon that will last about 30 minutes. The sermon will be based on the Bible and is an opportunity for all to learn and grow. At the end of the sermon, and invitation will be given. This is an opportunity for people to respond to the Word of God. It is a time to have the congregation pray for you, or to give your life to Jesus and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins. If someone feels the need to respond, they may walk to the front to express what is on their heart. If you want to learn more about coming to know Jesus, please contact us!
